The study session on environmental law held in the European youth centre in Strasbourg, France was attended by 29 enthusiastic and motivated environmental activists. Converging on the banks of the river Ill, youth from 18 different European countries spent one week studying the diverse topic of EU environmental law.
This year the EU is going to regulate the policy for the world's third largest fishing fleet. It is a policy which will change the managements of the seas for the coming ten years. A one every ten years opportunity. Therefore, it is widely important that we take the chance to make it as beneficial as possible.
The international training course "Volunteering: a way to environmental education" took place from the 23rd to 30th of September 2011 in the Ecological leisure time centre Švýcárna, situated in the Josefov Valley near Křtiny stream in Moravský kras (South Moravia Region, Czech Republic), which is one of the most important karst areas in Central Europe.

ECO-UNESCO is Ireland's Environmental Education and Youth Organisation affiliated to the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations (WFUCA). We offer a wide range of programmes and services including ECO-UNESCO Clubs, the ECO-UNESCO Young Environmentalist Awards, Environmental Workshops, ECO-Explorer Kids Camps, Training and even ECO-Kids Parties! ECO-UNESCO engages volunteers and interns throughout the year who offer great support and creativity to the organisation.
The Arbri Road, which significantly shortens the road between Tirana (capital of Albania) and Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, many times has been center of the media's attention, reflecting the progresses of works which are progressively destroying the Canyon of Tirana River, known also as the Brari Canyon. The Canyon is declared a Natural Monument, Category III by the IUCN categorization.
