For me choosing to participate in an EVS project in nature protection area was not a matter of choice. Before starting my EVS project ‘Volunteers in Parks International' in Germany, I was working in Romania for 6 years in the Regional Agency for Environmental Protection in the region I live. But I felt the need to gain more scientific experience from experts in the area I work in and so I thought I would like to have this experience within an EVS project.

EVS voluntary work for 6 months in Iceland with the Environment Agency of Iceland (Umhverfisstofnun, UST).

EDEN Center create and provide a hiking guide for Divjakë-Karavasta National Park

In October 2011, youth, educators, and environmentalists gathered in London, Paris, Milan, Amsterdam and Oslo in a series of environmental forums organized by Tread Lightly.

During this summer the association Konopa welcomed youth interested in natural building to try out how they can use hemp as a building material. Three workshops took place in south Bohemia. Altogether, these 30 young people, mainly from Czech Republic, learnt how to prepare hemp-lime and hemp-clay mixture and apply it to walls, ceilings or floors.
