It is with great pleasure that we present the latest YEE publication: ‘Games for Nature. Environmental education through the eyes of young people'.

This is a follow-up publication to the youth exchange 'Learning from each other - games of environmental education' that took place in Poland in September and was organised by our Member Organisation OA PTTK from Poland and YEE. You can find out more about the youth exchange here: Youth Exchange 'Learning from Each Other'

The idea for this booklet was to gather together the games that were presented during the youth exchange, as well as some more sent in by member organisations, and create a toolkit where people can find inspiration for their work with children in nature.

We hope you find ‘Games for Nature' useful and fun!

Keep an eye out for the printed version and DVD of this booklet - it will be landing in all YEE Member Organizations' mailboxes soon!

If you want to receive the printed version of booklet 'Games for Nature' write to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and explain why you would like to have it.

Environmental management -brilliant tool for better use of nature resources

TCEAP1020221What does environmental management tell you?
Maybe you have heard something about environmental management systems
ISO 14001 and EMAS? You thought it is too difficult for you and too serious for your organization?

After professional training course organized by YEE I can assure you that environmental audit can be easy, funny and accessible for everyone.
It is a clever method that helps organizations and companies:
• to find what else can be done to reduce their negative impact on the environment
• to plan and implement environmental improvements
• to assure their clients and members that they care about environment and put strong effort to decrease impact on environment
• to run enterprises according to the environmental law and good practices
• to get an ISO certificate
• to make workers more environmental conscious

The training course took place from September 16th till 22nd in a beautiful eco- farm ( in Bela u Jevicka village in Czech Republic. Participants came from different corners of Europe: Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Macedonia and Albania. It gave us also great opportunity for comparing environmental situations in our homelands.

This TC was just a beginning of the long-term project with the same name: "Environmental Audit" run by Youth and Environment Europe (YEE). It will last till March 2011. During this period participants from the training are going to use their knowledge in their organizations and act as multipliers. They are going to make eco-mapping of their working places and after that they will put their recommendations and arrangements into practice. Then we plan to spread the knowledge about eco-mapping in our countries.
We are searching for organizations, institutions and companies which would like to cooperate with us.
We can train you in environmental management, show you "how does it work'', tell you "how can you profit by that", and provide with all necessary information for further certified audit.
