Prep team meeting for “Fighting for a Sustainable Digital Future”
On the 14th of Septemeber, the prep team for the study session “Fighting for a Sustainable Digital Future” met in Budapest to begin preperations.
Whilst they were super busy, we asked them to jot down their thoughts and expectations for the study session and provide a summary.
Here is what a few of them had to say:
“This Study Session preparation has been pretty intense and challenging for me, as it has been my first experience with YEE as one of the new volunteers for this year. I am glad to be part of a great team to whom I have not only worked with and learned from these few days, but I was also able to have fun and enjoy Budapest. I am looking forward to meeting them all for the next step there!” – Anaïs
“My name is Adure Uzo-Peters, a researcher at Erasmus University in the Netherlands, specialising in Environment and Sustainable Development. I teach Law in Nigeria, at the University of Ibadan. I am excited to work with Youth Environment Europe (YEE) and the Council of Europe as a Prep Team Member during the study session on Youth participation in internet governance. I look forward to leading thought-provoking sessions and interacting with all participants during the session as we discuss connections, gaps and incoherencies in Digitisation and Climate Change.” – Adure
We are looking forward to seeing what they have created for the participants of the study session!
