Call for a prep-team
Youth and Environment Europe is announcing an open call for members of the preparatory team (prep-team) for the Training Course “Understanding Legislation” as part of the Youth and Environment Local long-term project.
The training course will take place in Armenia between 07/08/2022 and 14/08/2022. The team of the TOT will be formed by 4 team members coming from YEE member organisations. The team of trainers will be responsible for planning and implementing the educational program of the project. In addition, there will be 2 support staff from the host organisation in Armenia, Yeghvard Youth Ecological NGO. We expect to have a gender-balanced team of trainers and will support the cultural and geographical diversity of the project participants.
The objectives of the training course are:
- Explore and clarify the processes of environmental policy-making, to support a better understanding of environmental law and environmental issues among young people
- Develop participants’ competencies in planning, implementing, and evaluating nonformal educational activities on environmental issues, environmental law, and climate crisis
- Develop a hands-on workshop plan on environmental policy papers which will be exercised on an environmental level.
Methodology:
The program will be based on the principles of non-formal education and intercultural learning.
We strive for active, inclusive and direct communication and transfer and sharing of knowledge. Sessions will be balanced between theoretical inputs, training, workshops, discussions, reflection, planning, brainstorming and other interactive methods of learning.
