Easy Peasy Project – Mladi istrazivaci Srbije
The Great Volunteer Action “Easy Peasy” took place during last quarter of 2019 in Serbia, on the Gradac River which is located in protected area near city of Valjevo.
More than 100 volunteers, young people from all over Serbia participated in the action of landscaping and cleaning part of the river, forest and great canyon, painting benches, cutting grass, etc. If you wondered what is the meaning of “Easy Peasy” the literal translation is “it is not hard for us do to something”.
This campaign is part of a major project, “Youth are the Law”, supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia, organized by Young researchers of Serbia and has main aim to activate youth in volunteering and supporting local community. The importance of this big action is that it gathered more than 100 volunteers (mostly youth) and reminded us of citizens joint actions we used to have during 80’s when volunteering for community was part of
annual activities.
