[CLOSED] Paid Opportunities | Project Lead


YEE is looking for a part-time (20 hours per week) Project Lead to coordinate a four-month project, the objective of which is to raise awareness of young Europeans about nuclear power. The project will consist of two interactive workshops and a social media campaign. Together with experts, we are going to look at the available research on nuclear power and build evidence-based knowledge of the issue.

Who are we looking for:

  • A young European between 18 and 29 years old – NOT limited to EU citizens.
  • With some experience in project management, especially of non-profit, non-formal education nature.
  • Experienced in youth projects or youth exchanges, especially in an online setting.
  • Confident with Zoom (scheduling meetings, moderation of events with 20+ participants, breakout rooms, etc.) and other online tools.
  • With a strong ability to communicate clearly and consistently in a group setting.
  • Well-organised and result-oriented, able to manage their time, set priorities, find resources and deliver results autonomously.
  • With a kind, sensitive and intersectional approach to people.

Would be an asset:

  • Understanding of nuclear power matters and politics – background in research/civil society projects or working groups/activism will be an asset.
  • Experience in non-formal education trainings and workshops, trainer/facilitator experience will be especially valued.
  • Knowledge of the climate crisis, environmental movements, policy, UN processes, European policy.

What the job will entail:

  • Design and implementation of two online non-formal education workshops on nuclear power between 1st of October and 15th of December.
  • Organising logistics: liaising with partners, experts, launching the call for participants, promotion of the workshops, technical moderation of Zoom sessions, etc.
  • Moderation and management of the workshops.
  • Gathering content for an 8-week social media campaign on nuclear power based on the workshops. Coordination of the social media campaign in cooperation with YEE’s Communications Manager.
  • Creation of outputs: a 2-page knowledge summary and a narrative report for partners.

What we offer:

  • A 4-month part-time (20 hours per week) service contract.
  • A monthly salary of 900 EUR.
  • Remote work or opportunity to work with us in our office in Prague.
