Tetiana Stadnyk, Secretary-General

My name is Tetiana. After gaining experience in managing non-profit initiatives and non-formal education in Ukraine and across Europe, I joined YEE in 2019 to support young activists in building a strong European youth climate and environmental movement.

In 2015-2017, together with Peace Corps Ukraine, I co-directed three youth empowerment summer camps where experts and volunteers taught Ukrainian teenagers about pending social and environmental issues, helped them to grasp project management and fundraising techniques and carry out projects in their own communities. In 2015, as a geography student, I joined the European geography association (EGEA), where I carried out administrative management of 28 entities of the association in eight countries. In 2016, I completed a 2-month internship at a local school in Kharkiv, Ukraine, practicing non-formal education methods with 12-15 y.o. students and developing an experiential learning program for geography lessons. This led me to writing my Bachelors thesis on applying non-formal education methods and designing lesson plans for geography teachers in Ukraine. In 2018-2019, I worked as a manager of teachers at the largest EdTech company in Eastern Europe Skyeng, where I mentored 90 English teachers in 15+ countries.

In my free time, I organise online training courses and events at Music Export Ukraine, supporting independent artists and young music professionals in expanding their careers across borders. In 2020, I also had a chance to develop online facilitation skills and carry out online international networking events for the Creative Europe Program of the European Commission.
