Bonolo Madibe

External Relations Officer

Hello! I’m Bonolo from the UK.

Bonolo, tell us a bit more about yourself!

I hold an MSc in Gender, Development & Globalisation from the LSE and a BA (Hons) Development Studies and International Relations from the University of Westminster. I am a passionate advocate for social change with a vision to enhance women and girls’ rights and accelerate climate action.

My professional experiences have given me a well-rounded understanding of how to build communities and establish targeted partnerships to support the development and growth of high-impact social initiatives. Having worked with leading corporate organisations at across a diverse range of issues to support young leaders who are committed to creating innovative solutions for accelerating social change, I have a strong understanding of how to build entrepreneurial communities for impact.

Inspired by working alongside a team that is dedicated to putting people at the core of climate action for a more inclusive society, I joined YEE to strengthen my environmental knowledge, and gain exposure on how cross-sector partnerships can catalyse collective action through a shared vision to reduce environmental impact and promote youth engagement to deliver climate friendly solutions.
