Hi all! My name is Chloé and I am a climate justice activist based in Brussels, Belgium.
Chloé, tell us a bit more about yourself!
I am a board member of YEE for the 2021/2022 term. Besides YEE, I currently work for the Right to Repair coalition that aims to fight premature obsolescence of tech and extend the lifetime of our products.
In my free time, I’m involved as a climate activist in different groups, host the Burning Case podcast that aims to make the link between politics and crucial issues of our time accessible and go to high school to talk about the climate and social justice crisis.
I strongly believe that everything in life is political and am always up for a debate on this. I’m also passionate about the EU level because this is where so many environmental regulations begin.
What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
I have 2 dogs and love to cook though I’m really not that great at it.
YEE aims to unite environmental youth non-profit organisations in Europe in order to enhance international cooperation, increase knowledge about the climate crisis, raise awareness of environmental problems and to strengthen participation of youth in environmental decision-making.
