Hi! My name is Eva and I am Czech!

Eva, tell us a bit more about yourself!

I hold a BA in International Hospitality Management from UCL Denmark. I joined YEE in September 2021 after working in marketing in the private sector.

I have always had a lot of passion for sustainable development and environmental issues, and I wanted to find out how I could be more involved in this field. For me, YEE offered the opportunity to stay true to what I care about while being able to build professional experience. That’s the dream!

What are some of the causes you care about?

I care about everything regarding the climate crisis – from circular economy to social justice. I also like reading about gender issues, and I follow the energy transition debate.

What do you hope the world will look like in 2050?

I hope that people will be not forced to leave their home because of circumstances that they cannot control. I hope that everybody will be able to choose their life for themselves.

If you could time-travel, what era would you like to visit and why?

I would like to go back maybe 150 years ago and visit my ancestors that I know from old family pictures.

What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?

I love a lot of things – reading a good book, visiting sauna in the winter or going on hikes in the nature. But sometimes my mind convinces me that I am actually too tired to do anything but watch bad series.
