My name is Olivia and I am supporting the biodiversity work streams at YEE. My main focus so far has been on developing advocacy positions for COP15 of the CBD. I am excited by the opportunity to work with a collective of likeminded people and to support young people in taking an active role to influence climate & biodiversity decision-making.

I also work as a Research Associate at the startup Earthly, where I focus on nature-based solutions. My passion lies in originating and scaling up projects that work with nature to solve multiple challenges, such as climate adaptation, mitigation and social inequality.

I hold an MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford, and a BSc in Zoology from the University of Manchester where I researched primate behaviour and evolution. Prior to joining Earthly, I held roles such as Programme Officer at the NGO Climate Strategies, where I helped to raise funds, deliver and disseminate climate policy projects around the world.
