The Annual Meeting of YEE is one of the most important events of the year, as all Member Organisations gather and have the chance to present their activities, their future projects and connect with other members. Also, the event gives opportunity for all representatives to discuss the future of YEE and the delegates from full Member Organisations to vote for the approval of all the official documents and for the elections of the Executive Board. 

This year, the Annual Meeting was held between 17-19 July in the Czech Republic, in Toulcuv Dvur, the peaceful ecological center of Prague, where YEE office is situated. Throughout the meeting, we had plenty of work sessions, as well as team-building activities, energisers and evening events.

The first day started with some name games, so the participants had the opportunity to know each other better and to introduce their Member Organisations. The work sessions included many topics such as official opening, planned agenda, presentations of annual reports, financial report, internal auditor reports, Board members reports, clearing the Board; the opening of nominations for having the new Executive Board and Internal Auditors and last, but not least the Secretariat report, which was presented through a funny and creative theater play. The first day ended with the Project Planning sessions where we could hear a small introduction on funding and the project teams had time to develop their project ideas. It was a really productive and intense day.

On the last day, we started with the presentation and invited the member organisations to join the Climate Campaign. Later, during the NGOs market, every member organisation could present their objectives and activities. The Annual Meeting concluded with an evaluation activity, which enabled all participants to share opinions, express gratitude or reflections from the last three days. 

The second day was really important because of the constructive discussions and voting procedures. During the beginning of the day we paid attention to YEE's Short-term Strategies and Work Plan 2016, YEE opportunities, rights and responsibilities in the shape of a quiz. There was also membership review with the acceptance of a new Member Organisation, IPAS from Albania. On the second half of the day, the participants spent time with the elaboration and presentation of the projects which concluded with the voting on which projects should be included in the Work Plan 2016. We closed the day with the election of the new Executive Board and Internal Auditors which was followed by a lovely bonfire together.

All in all, the Annual Meeting was successful because the sessions went smoothly, YEE elected a new enthusiastic Executive Board, many projects were proposed by the Member Organisations and 8 of them were all included in the Work Plan. Moreover, we got many memories from the lovely ecological farm, new friendships with the great opportunity of the international collaboration in one of the near future projects.
