Ahoj Prague!

My name is Roxana and I'm happy to say that I am currently living "the Czech dream". I've arrived in this wonderful city only a few days ago and I can already say that it feels very comfortable and friendly. This is mainly due to the YEE team (Natasha, Mercedes, Jessica; and Knedlik, who is still not quite adapted to my presence here, but I'm sure we'll become good friends soon). It was a great welcoming from their part and I feel very lucky to have such good coordinators and companions throughout this new adventure. I've always wanted to experience living abroad for two main reasons. First, I see travelling and interacting with new cultures as a way of living, therefore I'm sure that having the chance to work in an environmental NGO such as YEE and discover the Czech Republic at the same time will be fulfilling and rewarding. Second, I believe that being a part of the YEE and Toulcůr Dvůr communities will definitely help me know myself a lot more. I might be a bit of a perfectionist sometimes and usually like to do things in a certain way, which might not be so good in certain situations. That is why I hope that this year will teach me how to enjoy myself and life more, how to let go of insignificant things and find harmony.
I'm truly excited about being a member of YEE, about gardening, cooking at the office, taking care of the horses or helping the people at the farm in any other way; about taking a lot of photographs, writing about our projects, learning the Czech language or participating in any kind of activities that involve arts, culture, the environment or the community; but, mostly, about discovering, feeling and living a beautiful life.
