Because of the training course "Environmental Education for Sustainability" 22 of April (official Earth Day) found us on Sremski Karlovci in Serbia, we celebrated Earth Day on 26 April which was also the celebration of 20 years of the ecological farm Toulcur Dvur . This was a great timing as the farm was full of activities and energetic children.
We thought of celebrating Earth Day by focusing on our "The Right to Be(e)" campaign, so our stand was full of informative materials like the booklets prepared by YEE, Bee games and colors to paint our faces . We also invited the guest to plant Delphnium elatum (or Stracka vyvysena in Czech) seeds, a very popular flower among honey bees and take it home with them.

The most successful games among children were the memory game and the bee maze. In the maze the bee had to pollinate the flowers along its way to the beehive. And of course at the end of the day almost every child had a bee painted on their face.
The activities in Toulcur Dvur were diverse and very interesting. Earth Day is a symbolic day for us to appreciate and not to forget the value of earth, so don't forget to do something small every day for this beautiful planet we live in. And join us in our Right to Be(e) campaign.
