Volunteers Centre Skopje are looking for organizations that would be interested to participate in following non-formal education projects that are intended to take place next May and June in Macedonia:

INTERCULTURAL LEARNING FROM GENDER PERSPECTIVE

The main target group of the 9-days training course is young people who are facilitating non-formal and intercultural learning activities within framework of different local and international youth projects.

The training aims to develop knowledge about cultural construction of gender and creative and facilitation skills trough giving theoretical inputs and constructive feedback.

YOUR LIFE IS IN YOUR HANDS

8-days training course will focus on development of skills that are important for young people eager to undertake role of leader: communication and presentation skills, argumentation skills, coaching skills, team-building and creative thinking. The participants will be introduced to different approaches to leadership and learn about roles and functions of a leader and about best leadership practices. Cultural impacts on leadership styles and practices and differences in working environments across Europe will be explored as well. Training aims to encourage young people to realize their own ideas and dreams. It promotes idea that it is in our hands to create better environment and life for all the people who live in this world. Please note that the target group of this training are people in age from 18 to 30 who come from rural and border areas and who haven't had a lot of travel and(or) intercultural learning opportunities before. Main idea of this project is to give more learning opportunities and encouragement to them. Thus in selection of partners we will give preference to organizations which are working in more disadvantaged areas or whose target group is young people from disadvantaged areas.
