YEE selected 5 new members of Pool of Representatives (PoR) - Kyrylo Ivliev (Ukraine), Natalia Cerga (Moldova), Olga Khomenko (Ukraine), Ana Lopes (Portugal) and Joanna Wylon. The Pool of Representatives is a group of volunteers who closely works with the External Relations Officer (ERO). The ERO is the main representative of YEE, who attends all the external events, is responsible for all the external affairs and external communication of YEE. Members of the PoR will be representing YEE at meetings, projects, seminars, trainings and other events organised by our partner organisations on both European and international levels. Alongside this, members of the Pool will be given the opportunity to attend working groups set up by the European Youth Forum, European Environmental Bureau and others.

Ana Lopes

I'm Ana Lopes, a Portuguese from Gaia city, in Porto. I'm Biological Engineer and an Organic Farming MSc. I have 4 cats and 1 dog living with me and my family. As all of my organisation members, I'm a volunteer in Organização para a Promoção dos Ecoclubes (OPE), Portugal, and at this moment I belong to the board (2nd vice-president). I belong to the Youth National Council and Erasmus+ National Agency teams of trainers. Recently I started a scientific research grant on a Portuguese indigenous tree Quercus suber in Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto.
I met YEE in 2008, on a training course in Sweden, runned by Sara Svenson, where YEE suggested me to connect my organisation to this European network of environmental youth organisations.
I felt so inspired that I brought to Portugal the idea and promoted the connection between OPE and YEE. After that, as you may know, a lot of projects occurred in cooperation, like international campaigns (Forest Campaign, Upcycling Campaign), youth exchanges and training courses, organised in Portugal for YEE member organisations (renewable energies and waste management or sustainable village) and participation of various OPE members in other training courses and youth exchanges. I coordinated OPE external relations with YEE almost since that time and was involved in the organisation of all of these different activities, supporting them as much as I could.
So, the challenge to become now part of YEE Pool of Representatives is really inspiring for me, especially because I can share my knowledge and learn with other members and also because there is a chance to know better different structures and institutions (such as YFJ, EEB, UNEP) and connect with them.

Kyrylo Ivliev

Dear YEE Friends!
My name is Kyrylo. I am originally from Ukraine but currently live in Germany where I am doing my master's in Leadership. I used to be involved in YEE for several years in the capacity of Board member but then decided to make a break to concentrate on my studies and job. At the same time I have been missing the feeling of belonging to the Family. Therefore I am very glad to have found an opportunity to be back again. PoR is a structure that can be a very good helping hand to External Relations Officer in the course of representation of YEE at various external events. Thus I cherish a hope that together with my colleagues we will manage to make contribution to a better visibility and external presence of our Federation.

Natalia Cerga

My name is Natalia Cerga and I'm really happy to be part of the PoR team. I'm from Republic of Moldova. I'm studying business administration in Romania, Pitesti, and also I did my Erasmus programme in Vilnius, Lithuania for a semester. In plus, I'm a council member of Gutta-Club, that is an environmental NGO and is also YEE member.

I started to be involved in environmental field during my high school, where I had an opportunity to participate at SPARE contest, and at the eco-camp organised by Gutta-Club NGO. Since then, for almost 4 years, everything started: camps, contests, projects, trainings, events, and so on.
Besides NGOs and studies, I have a big hobby: I like to make photos with people, buildings, beautiful places, moments that in time will become great memories! Also, sometimes, I like to sing and write articles. I'm a sociable, realistic and optimistic person and I'm excited to meet people from different countries, because of the opportunity to know their culture, traditions and language.
So, I'm looking forward to meet you and I'm glad to be a part of YEE.

Olga Khomenko

My name is Olga Khomenko, I am 24 years old and I am an ecologist. I come from Kiev, Ukraine, but I am currently living in Paris. Nowadays, I am mastering my French and looking for job opportunities in the field of ecology.
This year I have finished my studies at Erasmus Mundus Masters in Applied Ecology. My main interest lies in field of science communication. In the future, I would like to help to increase environmental awareness in Ukraine.
I'm open-minded and love being in international environment (during my studies, I lived in Ireland, France, England, Germany and New Zealand). Thanks to my Master's in Applied Ecology, I have knowledge in marine and terrestrial ecology.
I was excited to be chosen as a representative of Youth and Environment Europe, because I admire different initiatives of YEE and enjoy being around enthusiastic people who care about nature.
