Meet our future volunteers:
"Hello, I am Judit from Hungary. I was born and grew up in Budapest, the beautiful capital of Hungary. I graduated as an environmental engineer and during my studies I had the possibility to do my internship in the Netherlands and study in Paris due to Erasmus scholarships. After my memorable experiences abroad I really wanted to grab the great opportunity of EVS as well, because I believe that voluntary action, especially in the framework of international cooperation, is one of the most principal ways to obtain a better society. I am also a volunteer at an NGO (TE IS Foundation) which focus on empowerment of young active citizens; I take part mostly in organization of workshops and Youth Exchanges. I am very excited that the YEE team has chosen me to join them because I felt that their project totally fits on my interests as creating environmental awareness with involvement of social actions. I am looking forward to learning a lot about international environmental network, publication process, educational program organization and studying Czech language. I can hardly wait to be part of remarkable happenings, meeting nice and inspiring people and discover Prague."

"Hi! My name is Vladimir. I'm from Macedonia, from the city of Shtip. I have a BA in English Language and Literature, and currently, I am working as a translator and interpreter. I have always been a firm believer in the power of volunteerism, and the various opportunities for people and societies deriving from this power. Therefore, several months ago, I started looking for volunteering positions that are a part of the European Voluntary Service. After a while, I stumbled upon YEE's open call and the organization caught my attention not only because of the type of work that it performs, but also because of its great experience and expertise. Long story short, after several selection stages, I got accepted as a volunteer and now I'm delighted and eager to join the YEE team in April next year. I applied for this position because I wanted to get involved and explore the area of environmental awareness-raising and nature protection and conservation for a long time. In addition, another encouragement is that the YEE's field of activity is a somewhat uncharted territory for me, but at the same time, a territory that I am very passionate and excited to explore in a great detail. Furthermore, I believe that by becoming an EVS volunteer I can begin a new chapter - personal and professional - by obtaining many new sets of skills, and upgrading myself as a young person who has yet to discover his life's trajectory. Speaking of, the fact that I enjoy discovering this human planet we call Earth and what it has to offer makes me more than ready and confident to embark on this new journey. Last but not least, I am most certainly eager to get to know the Czech Republic better from the inside and to learn about its culture and people. So, until next time, take care and looking forward to my future as a part of the YEE team."
