From 13 to 16 February 2015, YEE Executive Board and Secretariat met in the ecological farm Toulcuv Dvur for the Physical Board Meeting. Like every year, the event was a great opportunity for discussing the well-functioning of YEE, proposing new ideas, planning the YEE Annual Meeting 2015, as well as for team-building.

The meeting opened on Friday afternoon with a team-building activity, followed by updates from each Board Member and the YEE office team. On Saturday, we started with a discussion on YEE Working Plan 2015 and what are the updates from the 11 projects that are taking place or will take place in 2015. Next sessions tackled the issues of Short-term Strategies, Internal Audit, Communication and External Relations. The day finished late, but discussions were constructive and a lot of topics have been covered.

Sunday was dedicated to the training on strategy design, where we talked about aspects like core values and principles of an organisation, vision, mission, objectives, strategies or activities. The training gave new perspectives on the future strategies and directions for YEE, as well as provided us with new methods of planning strategy.

The Board Meeting finished on Monday, with final discussions and evaluation. Overall, the meeting brought forward both successes and challenges and the YEE team became stronger and even more motivated. Last but not least, we "rewarded" ourselves with a nice walk in the city center on Monday evening and a little bit of dancing – to gather new energy for the YEE Annual Meeting 2015!
