So here we are. Last day as an EVS volunteer in YEE. It is almost unreal that one year had already passed since I came to Prague, with my life in one suitcase and the feeling of my heart in my throat, due to the enthusiasm. Since then, so many things have happened that I feel a bit of a different person - one that has grown a lot, has learnt and has enjoyed plenty of beautiful times.

YEE gave me a chance for which I feel truly privileged. As a volunteer in Youth and Environment Europe in Prague I discovered which are the things that I like doing and the ones that I am good at, as well as learnt things that are extremely valuable for me, on both professional and personal levels. I don't think I can express my true gratitude for Natasha, Mercedes, YEE Board and Gosia, who, for me, were friends and mentors at the same time - I was lucky enough to be surrounded by inspiring, supportive people. The same goes for all the friends I made in Prague and abroad - it has really been a pleasure to share all these wonderful moments with you during this year.

Finishing EVS is always a hard time, but for me this is the best proof that we have to learn to live in the present, embrace the future and appreciate the past. With this in mind, I can only smile.
