On my last day of my EVS, on my walk in the farm I couldn't help but remember my first day in Toulcuv Dvur farm. The cherry trees in the farm had bloomed and the place looked like having a flower festival. It's hard to believe but already a year has passed and it's time for me to say goodbye to a life and country which gave me so much.

It has been a true priviledge for me to be an EVS volunteer in Youth and Environment Europe. There is a feeling in myself which dominates and that is gratitude. Gratitude for the people that I met, the things I learned, the challenges I faced, the adventures that I experienced, the new culture I immersed myself into...

The fact that it's hard and touching to say goodbye to the people I met and to this fairytale city which bridges and streets I have filled with my joy and energy, it's a great sign of an unforgettable year. Coming to Prague has been one of the greatest initiatives I have taken in my life, and I am so tremendously happy for that.

A new chapter is beginning in my life, and I am walking towards it with a smile in my face and gratitude in my heart!
"Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others." - Marcus Tullius Cicero
