The Earth Hour is a worldwide movement organised by World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to raise awareness on climate change and energy consumption. 172 countries joined Earth Hour 2015. You can find out more about the movement in www.earthhour.org. |
Last Saturday, March 28, YEE celebrated the Earth Hour with our friends from International Young Naturefriends (IYNF). During 60 minutes, Prague Castle and other emblematic buildings in the city went dark. We organised a night picnic in the famous Charles Bridge. We shared tea and vegan muffins and discussed about the Earth Hour with the passers-by.
