The Spring Council of Members (COMEM) of the European Youth Forum (YFJ) started in Brussels on 17th April 2015. Almost 200 delegates from two pillars - the International Non-Governmental Youth Organizations (INGYOs) and the National Youth Councils (NYCs) gathered together to discuss a range of topics of youth policies.

As usual the COMEM started with the presentation of the implementation of Work Plan by the Board and Secretariat of YFJ. The participants had a space to directly address their questions to the representatives of YFJ. The participants had a choice to attend 4 policy commissions which were: Resolution: Time to act: more quality employment; Resolution: Inclusive societies at stake; Youth Work Convention; Youth Participation and Structured Dialogue. There was a public plenary with the Employment Minister of the European Union and directors of big companies.

The same day the participants were invited to attend one of the Thematic Squares organised by the member organisations. The thematic squares were as follows: Skills for Life: measuring the impact of non-formal education; Communication, media and youth: are our messages received?; Social Inclusion of Young Migrants – A question of Human and You(th) Rights; Remembrance and learning from World War II; COP 21: YFJ Members' goals and visons. YEE along with 3 other organisations (World Esperanto Youth Organisation (TEJO), International Young Nature Friends (IYNF), International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA)) organised the thematic square dedicated to the Conference of Parties 21 (COP21). Later the same day the nominees for the Advisory Council on Youth of the Council of Europe were announced.

The second day started with the Elections for the AC and the amendment on the policy commissions. There were 13 INGYOs and 7 NYCs elected to the AC from the YFJ.
The meeting ended with the notice about the next COMEM. Unfortunately the dates are not set yet, they might be set in a month.
