This is the last working day of our EVS volunteers, Judit and Vladimir. It is almost unreal that one year had already passed since they came to Prague. Now you can read their thoughts about the end of their memorable year and how they would like to say goodbye to their EVS project.

"As I can remember my first days of my EVS project, I arrived completely in the middle of spring and I was walking around a lot in Prague in order to discover it. Now, the weather and the blossoming trees are similar and I do the same, walking around in the city just to say goodbye to places, tastes, faces. Same conditions filled with totally different associations. Right now, it is a bit controversial feeling to write this goodbye letter. That's true, the EVS project will end, I will leave the country and a new chapter of my life will begin soon, but my valuable experiences, memories what I got here on both personal and professional levels will never disappear. Moreover, I am just glad that I could have this one year long amazing opportunity with a lot of self-development, meet really great people and be inspired by them while living in one of the nicest cities in the world. Avoiding writing big goodbye cliches, I just want to express my gratitude for YEE's office great work during my EVS project and give a (virtual) high five to them. The same goes for all the friends I made in Prague. Thanks for everything!

"So, I guess this is it.
This is my goodbye article and the last thing that I am going to write on this EVS blog. The reason for it – I won't be an EVS volunteer for a long time because I'm finishing on 11 April.
After twelve months spent in YEE I have so many things to say, but at the same time I don't think I can find the right words, regardless of the language. This was truly a life-changing experience, a period of personal growth and self-improvement. Currently I am not much familiar with the direction my life will take after Prague, but I am curious to see how I can use the various skills and learnings I received as a part of YEE. This time I will be very brief and I'm going to finish by simply saying thank you to YEE, my colleagues, my friends here and the European Union.
