Last week on 27th of April YEE visited the NGO market which was organised by the Forum 2000 Foundation. The event took place in Prague at Forum Karlin, and it gathered many NGO representatives from different fields of work, such as environmental, social, youth, financial, legal, cultural etc.

The fair was open not only to NGOs, institutions or companies, but also the general public could participate. The event included a day-long programme of lectures, presentations and workshops. Sessions were organised in collaboration with some of the partners of the event. Participants could learn about various topics, such as communication and PR for NGOs, fundraising opportunities and managing finances, volunteering opportunities, leadership practices etc.

For YEE the event was a great networking opportunity to find out more about NGOs that work both at local and international level, to learn about their activities and projects. We also had the chance to speak with participating organisations about YEE and to present some of YEE's activities and projects. We are looking forward to more similar events in Prague!
