Dear YEEers,

I remember the first day I entered the YEE office - that mixture of happiness, excitement and a bit of anxiety as well about all the new things that awaited me. Two years and a half passed, the unknown YEE became very familiar and important for me and in spite of being sad about leaving and saying goodbye I feel it is time for me to move on, to look for new experiences and give opportunity to someone else to feel the same excitement about starting in YEE, give opportunity to learn and discover and also give opportunity to continue developing YEE.

During those two years and a half, YEE has become a very important part of my life and I would like to thank to all those who made my time in YEE so special, exciting and inspiring! It was full of learning, getting new experiences, and meeting many interesting and enthusiastic young people.

Work in YEE has been a challenge for me and never ceased to be and that is what made it so enriching and fulfilling. Every single day in YEE was different and full of many tasks ... sometimes too many and the days simply seemed to short. Thanks to YEE I got the opportunity to be involved in running of a big European network as well as developing, implementing and participating in many interesting international environmental projects and smaller local actions as well. I am happy I could also take part in developing some of the YEE publications, something I enjoyed a lot. While working in YEE, I had the chance to meet lots of nice and inspiring people from all around Europe, I discovered a bit more of their cultures and some of them became very good friends of mine for what I am grateful.

A special thanks to my colleagues in the YEE office (including Knedlik, our office cat, of course) – I thoroughly enjoyed the everyday work in our small international team which composition changed several times during my time in YEE but the nice and friendly atmosphere was always kept! And our common tasty lunches, hmmm, I miss it already!

YEE has always been full of action so I wish you to keep it that way! I wish you many great green ideas! And I wish you good luck and a lot of enthusiasm, energy and determination when bringing these ideas into life and organizing many nice and interesting YEE projects in the future!
I hope to keep in touch and meet you somewhere around Europe soon again!
