60th Anniversary Council of Europe

2009 marks the 60th Anniversary of the Council of Europe. To highlight this and to promote the values of the Organisation to young Europeans, the YFJ, in collaboration with the Slovenian Office of Youth and the Slovenian National Youth Council will organise a youth event within the context of the Slovenian Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers. The youth event will be an opportunity for young people to celebrate the Council of Europe 60th Anniversary and acknowledge the previous work of the Organisation, while at the same time promote a new approach for the future - a rights-based approach.

The event will take place in Brdo Pri Kranju, Slovenia, on 3-4 September 2009.
