In the second month of my EVS I had my On-arrival training in Kraliky. I should say I was looking forward to it since, as a foreigner in Czech Republic, I didn't know many people so sometimes it was a little bit boring for me, even though from the stories I heard about various On-arrivals (some good, some bad), I didn't know what to expect. And besides the fact that I would meet other volunteers I was also excited because I would make my first trip in Czech Republic.

I was feeling good, like always when you travel, like merging to another adventure and it proved to be a very pleasant experience. I met great people, I was rolling in the grass, I was enjoying the wind and laughing a lot. We were trying to party every night even though we had to be DJ-s by ourselves since there was no club in the town. We were also a very musical group, I don't promise that anyone would like the music we were making, but we did.

We also learned about Czech culture, history and beer, and I feel that after the On-arrival I am more excited to explore  Czech culture, make Czech friends and to learn the language than I ever was before. I am very happy that I was part of such a great group.And the best way to close the week was by waiting for a star-shower until 3 am in the morning. Living in Czech Republic is just awesome.
