Summer said goodbye with a bang.

The Training Course “Be(e) the change” and Annual Meeting were followed by several follow-up activities - some of which are keeping us busy until this day. The wind of change blew through YEE's office and replaced Amelys with Diana.

Then came the harvest festival - Dožinky. People from near and far could try themselves in the ways of old or, if not keen on the past, just enjoy goods from numerous stands occupying the courtyard of Toulcův dvůr. Dožinky was a great opportunity for me to help out one of the local NGOs, experience Czech culture and even practice what little there is of my Czech.

Last but not least, I attended the (not so mid) EVS mid-term meeting. We met in Hodonín, a cute little town close to the Slovak border. Although more people joined us for this occasion, we still ended up being (magnificent) seven participants. Again, it all revolved around our EVS experiences, sharing, learning and setting course for the future. Productive indoor sessions were enriched with strolls around town, walks in the nearby nature, a short visit to Slovakia, cultural events (Svátek vína - Wine festival) and a boat trip on the Morava river (where did all the beavers go?!?).

Looking ahead it seems as if Autumn will be no different. Project follow-up activities (yup, still here), October newsletter, events at Toulcův dvůr, project applications, meetings... An endless list of opportunities to improve, learn or just try to make a difference.
