Our first project

From the 1st to the 5th of March YEE had the pleasure to host 17 participants from Germany, Albania, Maceconia and Czech Republic for the Evaluation Meeting of the Environmental Audit Project.

Most of the participants attended a Training Course which was the first step of this project. During this Evaluation Meeting they presented the actions they carried out in their home countries. All together, we analyzed the positive and negative aspects and outcomes of those actions.

As new participants we brought a fresh look to the project. We participated in the improvement process by puting in practice the environmental audit knowledge, provided during the week. As volunteers we energized the group with some small games at the beginning of every session. We also gave a hand with the logistics.

This week has given us the chance to meet some other people from the YEE network. We had some great time with all the participants, not only during work but also in the evening programme. We spent our free time in sharing some interesting skills like theatre or drawing; and we even had an overtone singing moment.

Despite being new participants in this project, we could feel completely part of the team. We had some discussions on Environmental Management Sysyems and joined the YEE action plan for the follow-up of the two last months of the project. And of course we made some good new friends!
