Hello, my EVS is taking place in Portugal since september 2012 untill the end of July (10 months). I live, work and study in Pinhal Novo which is a town in a rural area between Lisbon and Setubal close to national park Arabida (very beautifull).

My hosting organisation is called AJCOI and its field of work is leisure-time activities and support for local youth.

Main part of my work is to cooperate and help local musical bands during rehershals and recording. We also make concerts where my part is video recording and editing. Then some simple tasks as accounting and what is needed in general. Thanks to not so busy schedule of my EVS I have lots of time for travel and myself.

I have a very good teacher of Portuguese twice a week for two hours and it shows! :)

EVS is incredibly valuable life experience which I would recommend to everyone! So go for it! Don't rob yourselves from this opportunity!

I found lots of new friends and learned a lot by the most funny and exiting way...by living.
