The "Through the Eyes of the Youth" program was implemented at Aarhus Center in Yeghvard, which aims to promote raising the awareness of youth on the natural monuments, places of interest and to supplement the list of natural monuments of Kotayk region. The program "Wonders of Armenia in the eyes of youth" is implemented by "Yeghvard" Youth Environmental NGO jointly with Yeghvard Aarhus Environmental Public Information Centre funded by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of the RA and in partnership with the Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia.

Within the framework of the project, 20 young people arrived from the RA regions. A seminar was held in the Aarhus Centre which was conducted by Ms. M. Chakryan, PR manager of the Aarhus Centers. She talked about the nature, human-nature relationships, conscious nature conservation. The presentation provided information on the ways of nature conservation, protected areas, natural monuments and those conservation policies as well as reflected on the right of the public to be informed and to participate in decision-making opportunities. The speaker also gave tips how to make photo-reports on the wonders of nature.

After the seminar the volunteers of "Yeghvard" NGO and young participants of the program went to Bujakan, Aghveran, Aghavnadzor, Garni and Hanqavan to discover new nature monuments. During the tours the young people took photos, made video filming, and gathered information which should be used in the informational brochure about the project and nature monuments.

Within the frame of the campaign a seminar was held on the first aid as well as various intellectual games were held, which contributed to creation of a more intimate friendly environment.

At the end of the project there will be an informational brochure, which is now on the way of being made. It will include all the information about the scenes and natural monuments of the region Kotayq. They are going to put forward a package of proposals on supplementing the list of natural monuments of Kotayk province and submit to the competent authorities.
