The Youth Exchange "In love with energy efficiency" took place in Tirana and Himara (Albania) from 7th to 15th of October 2014. Young people from Czech Republic, Albania, Poland, Spain and Moldova gathered to share their knowledge on renewable resources and energy efficiency, to exchange best energy-related practices and initiatives from their countries and to adopt a proactive attitude towards energy saving.

Participants had discussions with an expert on the topic, learned how to build a solar oven, how to organize an awareness campaign, how to eco-map their home and office and developed tips on how to save energy daily.

September was the perfect time for the momentum of the climate issue to be built. People were working a lot especially in New York, where the Ban Ki-moon summit on climate change was taking place. It was a global call to organise the biggest climate march in the history, just two days before the summit, and it was successful.

On the 21st of September, New York was flooded with people marching for the climate, and not only for climate, but they were marching for EACH OTHER. There is an estimation of 400 000 people marching in New York among which Ban Ki-moon, Al Gore, Leonardo DiCaprio and so on. There were about 2800 events all over the world, including Prague.

The movie presents the various reasons why climate change issue is the most pressing issue of this time. How climate change is much more than an environmental concern but involves everything from social, economical, political justice to health aspects.
