News
YEE and our Member Organisations have been busy preparing projects for the coming 2015 already!
And right before holidays, we have even more reasons to celebrate. A lot of our project applications have been approved!
Even though we are still saying goodbye to 2014, YEE and our members are already thinking about next projects and campaigns!
We are sharing with you three calls for partners:
- Contact-making event "Give international dimension to your projects" - will be applied by YEE to the Czech National Agency.
- Youth Exchange "Art for the Environment" - will be applied by Look East Wild Earth to the UK National Agency.
- "Climate Campaign"- a grassroot campaign aiming to make the impacts of climate change visible in the partner organisations countries.
The General Assembly of the European Youth Forum took place on 20-22 November in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. There were 220 delegates from two pilars: International non-governmental youth organisations and National youth councils. This year during the General Assembly YEE was represented by me, Zaruhi Stepanyan, the External Relations Officer, and Ana Bianca Badea, the Project Officer.
On the 5th of December we celebrated the International Volunteer Day, a day that we dedicated to all our previous and current volunteers. The volunteering aspect has always been important in YEE – especially when it comes to the European Voluntary Service. With this occasion, we got in touch with some of our previous EVS volunteers and asked them to share some thoughts, memories or just a few words on their volunteering experience.
'How to make your project last. Guide on creating impact and follow-up'
We are very happy to present you a new YEE publication. The booklet was planned as a tool to share the ideas and methods from the training course 'Follow-up and impact in international projects' that took place in August 2014 in Latvia and was organised by Balta Daba and YEE. A group of participants formed an editorial team – they collected information from the training course, but also added more ideas and tools after doing further research.
