YEE is happy to invite all interested young people to apply for our new training course "International Environmental Action Days"!

The training course will take place on 6-13 November 2017 in Kapraluv Mlyn, Ochoz u Brna, Czech Republic. With this training course we would like to explore how young people can exercise active citizenship while developing ecotourism projects in their local communities. Please follow this link to read more about the project.

YEE left one more Annual Meeting behind with the member organisations, YEE secretariat and Executive Board members. The meeting provided an opportunity to review and to evaluate what YEE has done all year long and also discuss future plans for its next projects and activities.

In 2017, the meeting took place from 14th to 16th July in Meriharju Nature House in Helsinki, Finland with 34 participants from over 15 different countries. They participated in a variety of sessions which included discussions, peer to peer communication, evaluations, energizers and presentations.

YEE is happy to present the booklet "Inclusion in environmental youth projects - guide for youth organisations". This publication was developed as a follow-up of the training course "YEE-nclude". It not only aims to help youth workers, youth and environmental organisations to understand the topic of inclusion better, but it also suggests some practical ideas for making projects and activities more inclusive. The booklet includes several chapters, starting from a theoretical approach and moving towards more practical sections, with tips, interviews and good practices.

Read the booklet here.

YEE and BALTA DABA are happy to invite all interested young people to join the international competition “Environmental challenge accepted”.

Join this competition if you are an active young person who cares about environmental preservation! If you organise an environmental project or action in the last 5 years, you are invited to submit your entry!

Youth and Environment Europe is looking for a trainer for the training course “Uniting Youth for Ecotourism”. YEE would like to find ways to empower young Europeans to feel more responsible for their homes and communities and to have sufficient competences to promote ecotourism and protect their homeland.

We are looking for a trainer with specific knowledge, skills and experience in the field of youth participation and environmental youth work.  The trainer will work in a team with another trainer and project team.
