WoesteLand is the youth section of IVN, an association for environmental education in the Netherlands. IVN is run by both professionals and volunteers, while WoesteLand is fully run by volunteers.

WoesteLand organizes low budget activities in nature, not just in the Netherlands but also the rest of Europe. Activities last from one day up to 10 days during the summer. The longest activities are of course the most popular. These activities are a good combination of fun, preserving nature, non-formal education, and relaxation time. The participants and the youth leaders, who organize the activities, are all aged between 12 and 30 years. They are all volunteers and do their work with passion.

IVN has already been a member of YEE for some years. But this year WoesteLand will start to be a more active member in YEE. We open our activities for members of YEE, so If you visit our website and find an interesting activity, just send an email to ask if you can participate (we are working on an English version of the website).
