Hello everybody!

I am Tasha from Serbia. As a great lover of nature, I wanted to dedicate myself to something that would be beneficial to it. That's why I chose to study Landscape Architecture, which helped me to better understand space around me and the natural processes in it, as well as interactions between humans and environment. My biggest interest was in the field of preservation and protection of nature, hence I enrolled in master studies on this subject. After venturing into the world of research, and after I felt confident enough to share gained knowledge, I joined several associations and ENGOs, believing that I can help their mission to make our environment healthier and happier. That led me to YEE, where I met a lot of like-minded young people from all over the Europe, who are very motivated to work together towards valuable changes. I was lucky enough to become a part of the Board, so in the following year I will do my best to support network and make It stronger and more noticeable.

My name is Tea Zeqaj. I'm 21 years old and I study Business Administration in Tirana, Albania. I'm really into travelling, people, animals, theater, movies, music and off course environment. I represent EDEN center, which is an NGO that deals with environmental problems and protection and involves young people in voluntary work and decision making. I was elected to be a board member for 2018-2019 as a Project Officer, hopping that I will contribute, do my best at this position and I will gain knowledge and experiences. I got very inspired by YEE work through the years regarding environment and young people, that's  why I see this opportunity as an open window to make a change together... and I'm barely waiting to start :)
I am Elen from Armenia. My passion towards everything nature and wilderness related has been one of the few firmly unaltered indicators of my character since a very early age. My time in the “Yeghvard” Youth Ecological NGO helped to cast the passion into a fulfilling mission to contribute to the process of making a change in my country. I find myself to be an explorative and a very curious linguist in Spanish․ Despite the diploma qualifying me as a Linguist, I do feel there are many gaps to be filled in my hobbies, such as nature conservation and environmental study. I am deeply convinced that being a part of the YEE is an essential prerequisite for future accomplishment and sustainability of my career and all the efforts that my organization is putting in the fields of conservation and environment education in Armenia. I envision my work to become a good basis for fostering those in Armenia.

Hello there,

My name is Tiarnan and I hail from Dublin, Ireland. My passion and pursuit in this life is to promote and protect our beautiful natural heritage. I completed a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management and have gone on to be actively involved in various conservation and environmental educational NGO’s that seek to preserve our land, water and the wild free things that inhabit them. I want to see change in the world and myself and I believe that being involved in YEE can help me in accomplishing these aspirations.

Hello everybody,
My name is Daniela and I am from Moldova. I'm 20 years old and I study International economic relations. I am a hard-working and caring person, who loves nature, good music, tea and exploring new places. As I always cared about the environment, I am truly happy that I have the opportunity to stay for the second year in the board of YEE and to contribute to the development of this amazing network, which brings young and passionate people together, to cooperate and exchange ideas in order to protect the environment and to make the world we live in a better place. As the Treasurer, I will try to do my best to secure funds for YEE and I am looking forward to seeing what this year will bring.
I am Kristine from Latvia. I am a life enthusiast that tries to learn from the life as much as possible including the absorption of the knowledge about environment and interactions between organisms in it. I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology and my mission of life is to stand for the environment as well as raising the awareness of it among young people throughout the Europe. I became a part of YEE because I see it as a great platform where I can reach many of the goals that can fulfill the mission of my life, at the same time sharing the knowledge and my skills with others across the Europe and even further away. I look forward to collaborating fruitfully with the member organisations of YEE as well as strengthening and expanding the boundaries of our network. Let’s stand for the nature together!

There is in France a recurring problem that reached an extraordinary scope last summer.
Each year, the North-West beaches (Brittany region) are stricken by an invasion of green algae.
This "green tide", which results from the human impact in the area, is harmful for the environment and noxious for locals.

The story of ILVA steel plant in Taranto has attracted during decades the attention of several groups: mass medias, public opinion, national (Italian government, trade unions, municipalities, local NGOs...) and international institutions (European Commission and European Court of Justice). This article provides a short review of ILVA case until today and supports the idea that, in contemporary business models, economic interests and environmental and social parameters should be harmonized in order to guarantee long term financial wealth.
