Michal Švec is leaving
In July 2010 I became part of a big international family called YEE. Now, after one year working for the organisation, it is time to say goodbye.

michalFor me the past year was full of great experiences. I am happy I had the opportunity to take part in inspiring activities, meet young enthusiastic people and especially get many new friends from all over Europe. I enjoyed big international events as YEE and CEEweb Annual Meetings or a training course and an evaluation meeting of the Environmental Audit project and also smaller events organized by the office team such as water monitoring trip or presentation of YEE in the NGO Market. I also very much enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of everyday work in the office with my great colleagues and one cute black cat. We all had a lot of fun together!

The year was full of learning and getting new experiences and I must admit I really learned a lot. From web site administration, understanding the EU financial mechanisms and day-to-day work in a European federation to learning about environmental management systems, customs and traditions of different countries and how to say crazy useless words in Albanian language. Everywhere I was I met great open-minded people, who were happy to share their own experience and knowledge with the others.

I would like to thank everybody, who contributed to make my year in YEE so exciting, wish you all good luck and lot of enthusiasm for future projects and hope to meet you soon again!
