My coordinating organisation is EUROPARC Deutschland, which is the umbrella organisation of German protected areas. It unites national parks, nature parks and biosphere reserves across the country, with the common aim of protecting Europe's unique variety of wildlife, habitats and landscapes.

My hosting organisation is Naturpark Eichsfeld-Hainich-Werratal, one of the 5 nature parks in Thuringen Region. Here I am involved in working with the biologist of the park in the project called ‘Inventory of animal and plant species and their distribution in the Nature Park'. For me, being involved in this project will help me to gain more scientific experience and also to contribute to the project work with my experience. The work involves a theoretical part which consists of reading information and literature about protected zones, species and habitats and also field working in order to identify the species and habitats.

I do find very interesting the fact that I have the chance to meet experts working in nature protection, to take part in discussions on different topics concerning nature protection and to get ideas about projects in this area. Besides this main project, I express my intention to get involved also in environmental education projects. I find this area also very interesting and I would like to get involved in more projects in this area back home.

I choose to have an EVS project in Germany because according to my experience I do consider that Germany has one of Europe's best systems in environmental protection, and for me being involved in a project here is a big honour. I would like to share all my EVS experience I will gain in nature protection area when I will be back home and start to implement projects in nature protection area.
