Biodiversa is a non-profit grassroots environmental NGO in Spain, formed by a group of nature-lovers who dedicate part of thier lives to preserving, defending, studying and enjoying nature.

Aim:

Biodiversa's mission is to preserve nature and the environment through education and awareness raising. Thier vision is of a planet where humans live in harmony with nature.

What they do:

Biodiversa organises all sorts of activities and projects related to the care, study and enjoyment of nature. They are based in Asturias, on north-atlantic coast of Spain, but their scope of work is mainly international, as well as local. Their main activities are environmental education training courses, awareness raising and information campaigns and activities; cleaning of natural spaces; reforestations and guided nature treks.
