In the June 2013 YEE invited you to participate in the international protests that happened in Germany this summer: Reclaim the Fields and Climate Camps and also the Reclaim the Power Tour. Now we publish the results.

The protests campaigned against the plan to open a new huge opencast coal mine near Cologne which could initiate the relocation of one full village and the destruction of a protected reserve forest. They also protested against agricultural policies which promote industrial agriculture and impede young farmers who use ecological methods.

	Participants cycled thousands of kilometers around Germany demanding a change in the European policy of energy, to use renewable energies instead of the promotion of new opencast coal mines. See more pictures here
	Two camps took place near Cologne - an open space to share ideas and knowledge. Some fields where occupied to grow vegetables and to show the need of a new agriculture and food awareness. Read more here
