The office of Youth and Environment Europe is happy to invite young people to join our team as EVS volunteers.

We are searching for 2 people for the project which will start in April 2016 and will last 12 months and will take place in Prague, Czech Republic.

Another successful YEE project took place! Youth exchange "Three Rs for the Environment" was organised on 6-14 June in Moldova. The project was hosted by our member organisation Gutta-club who also suggested this youth exchange at YEE Annual Meeting 2013. The project was attended by 30 young people from 6 countries: Czech Republic, Moldova, Georgia, Russia, Portugal and Romania.

The youth exchange was organised for young people who are concerned about the problem of waste management in their and other European countries. The main aim of the project was to bring young people together to exchange experience and knowledge about waste management and work on various ways of promoting sustainable lifestyle.

The project was inspired by the Upcycling Campaign organised by YEE in 2013.

The training course "Supporting youth creating green start-ups" took place in Asturias, Spain from 16th to 24th April 2015. It was hosted by YEE Spanish member organisation Biodiversa. 22 youth workers, coordinators and volunteers from Czech Republic, Spain, Latvia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Portugal, and Croatia gathered to gain new skills to support and empower young entrepreneurs, to explore ways to develop creativity and innovative thinking, to explore tools on how to create environmentally friendly start-ups and much more.

On 9th June, Vladimir and me, Judit, YEE's two EVS volunteers, had the possibility to participate in the international conference "State and outlook of the environment in the Czech Republic and the EU" which was held in the beautiful plenary hall of Wallenstein Palace, the Parliament Senate of Czech Republic, in the center of Prague.

The conference was organised with the participation of the European Environment Agency (EEA) which is an agency of the European Union. Their task is to provide sound, independent information on the environment. They are a major information source for those involved in developing, adopting, implementing and evaluating environmental policy, and also the general public.
