Today is a very special day for me, as I am starting my new collaboration with YEE. I am very happy and grateful for the opportunity to be Networking Coordinator and to contribute to the creation of successful projects and actions for the organisation's network.

As a former EVS volunteer in YEE I discovered my passion for working on international projects and ways of promoting activities of NGOs, especially in the field of environment. It also made me appreciate the work and values of YEE, as well as the people that I have been working with. I am confident that my new role in the organisation will help me learn even more and will allow me to put all my skills and knowledge to good use, making YEE even greater.

The Annual Meeting is one of the most important YEE events every year. That's why it deserves a special issue of the YEE e-Newsletter. During the 3 day-long meeting many things start, for example new projects are approved, the new Board is elected and new member organisations join. Many things also end as we analyse the results of the previous year and sum up our last projects. If you did not have a chance to join the Annual Meeting in the Czech Republic this year, you can get an insight into YEE's past and future plans by reading this issue.

Climate change is something that concerns all of us. It is something that is caused by us, and therefore, naturally, the solution must also come from us. 

YEE has the pleasure to invite individuals, organisations and local groups to give their contribution to the fight against climate change by joining our Climate Campaign. Our response to climate change is developed to suit interested people all over Europe. That is why we are having YEE Climate Week from 14 to 27 of September. During this week, we ask organisations and groups to organise an action designed for raising awareness, as a part of our Climate Campaign.

YEE and FÖJ-Aktiv are happy to present our latest publication "Eco-Trainer Guide". The publication is the follow-up to the training course "Environmental Training for Eco-Trainers" which was organised by FÖJ-Aktiv in March 2015 in Germany. 

The guide was created by the participants of the training course who worked hard on collecting the information from the training course, researching and writing the chapters.

The Annual Meeting of YEE is one of the most important events of the year, as all Member Organisations gather and have the chance to present their activities, their future projects and connect with other members. Also, the event gives opportunity for all representatives to discuss the future of YEE and the delegates from full Member Organisations to vote for the approval of all the official documents and for the elections of the Executive Board. 

This year, the Annual Meeting was held between 17-19 July in the Czech Republic, in Toulcuv Dvur, the peaceful ecological center of Prague, where YEE office is situated. Throughout the meeting, we had plenty of work sessions, as well as team-building activities, energisers and evening events.
