After many virtual meetings the Executive Board of YEE and the Secretariat finally gathered in Prague on 9-11 January. The meeting had a general purpose of mutual understanding of current situation as well as to plan actions till the end of current term.
The meeting lasted only 3 days while the range of suggested topics for discussion was wide: evaluation of implementation of working plan 2013-2014, membership issues, external relations issues, internal communication, quality of projects and sustainability issues. Also the future of YEE and its financial situation were in the focus of discussion.
YEE would like to present our new booklet.
The booklet "Youth for Rivers" was created as a direct follow-up of the training course "Youth for Rivers". The training course took place in Armenia in October 2013 and was organised by Balta Daba, Khazer and YEE.
The idea of this booklet is to provide young people with introductory information on river restoration - what is river pollution, what is river restoration, why do we need restoration and how do we do it.

YEE's last e-Newsletter of this year is ready. Read it and you can learn more about our current and future EVS volunteers, our campaigns and coming projects. This issue also contains some tips on how to have more sustainable holidays and as always traditional news from our members.

Christmas is celebrated by many of our members across Europe. If you plan to buy Christmas gifts this year, don't forget to pick them carefully.
It is easy to buy things in Europe that are not made ethically. At YEE we try to avoid sweatshop made and unsustainable products. We do not want gifts that have abused the environment or human rights.
It is 14 days till Christmas. There is still time to find ethically made gifts.
