First days of May Stepanavan Youth Center (Armenia) organised APV=Advance Planning Visit for the youth exchange "Snapshot to Environment" in Armenia. Group leaders from 5 organizations/countries took part in the meeting. They discussed the details of the upcoming youth exchange, prepared the final daily program, shared responsibilities and tasks, visited the sites where the project will take place, discussed profile of participants and travel details. This was an important meeting which will ensure quality in the upcoming youth exchange.

My year as a volunteer in YEE has come to an end. I can still remember how I was waiting for my project to begin and it felt like it would never start. But then I came to Prague in a very nice month of May and my year and summer with YEE finally began.

This time was full with new experiences, people, trips and work! For me EVS was a time of many opportunities and I tried to use as many as I could. The time in YEE office helped me think about my future and what I wanted to do and I could learn a lot of things for my future job. But it also was a time to spend with nice and funny people in the office. I enjoyed our lunches together, small jokes and bike trips after work. With YEE I also traveled a lot and met people from all over Europe.

Time on the ecological farm Toulcuv Dvur was a lot of fun too. I helped with horses which I couldn't imagine doing before or spent time in the kindergarden trying to speak Czech with children or making their Indians costumes. I loved the weekends in Toulcuv Dvur as well. With other volunteers we could go on big bike trips or have dinners together and play board games.

I know that everyone is saying that EVS is one of the best times in their life but this is true. This year helped me to know myself better, become more independent but at the same time enjoy the time of few worries.
I am also happy that I got the chance to stay in YEE longer and now I will be the main coordinator. I am looking forward to new challenges and new things I can do and learn in YEE and want to bring to the network as much as I can.

The spring Council of Members (COMEM) and the Extraordinary General Assembly (Ex-GA) of the European Youth Forum (YFJ) took place in Brussels on 19-20 April 2013. The meeting was an occasion for the representatives of the two pillars of YFJ (the International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) and the National Youth Councils (NYCs)) to get together to discuss a wide range of topical issues of youth policy in Europe. The meeting was composed of two parts. Firstly COMEM acted as a platform for the members of YFJ to discuss policy papers and amendments, to listen to reports of the Board and to adopt resolutions. Seondarily, Ex-GA discussed the approval of changes to statutory documents, the review of membership of current member organizations and the acceptance of new members.
