Dear YEEers,

I remember the first day I entered the YEE office - that mixture of happiness, excitement and a bit of anxiety as well about all the new things that awaited me. Two years and a half passed, the unknown YEE became very familiar and important for me and in spite of being sad about leaving and saying goodbye I feel it is time for me to move on, to look for new experiences and give opportunity to someone else to feel the same excitement about starting in YEE, give opportunity to learn and discover and also give opportunity to continue developing YEE.

During those two years and a half, YEE has become a very important part of my life and I would like to thank to all those who made my time in YEE so special, exciting and inspiring! It was full of learning, getting new experiences, and meeting many interesting and enthusiastic young people.

On a warm, Saturday afternoon, July 28th YEE hosted during the Annual Meeting a number of honorable guests. "Old socks"- as they call themselves – were not only fresh, but also inspiring.

Curious about the past, young activists had a chance to meet older experts of environmental work.

Call for EVS volunteers!

EVS = European Voluntary Service

Office of Youth and Environment Europe in Prague is searching for 2 EVS volunteers for a project starting in April 2013 and lasting 12 months.

Around 40 young delegates of YEE member organisations participated in the Annual Meeting which took place in Oucmanice, Czech Republic from the 27th till the 29th of July.

Among all the reporting, presentations, discussions, networking and planning, the delegates elected a new Executive Board and the Internal Auditors.
