I was born in 1986, so I am 27 years old.

Where do you live?

I live in Tirana the Capital of Albania.

What do you do?

I have graduated in Biology and now I am working in an Environmental NGO in Tirana.

Which YEE member organisation do you belong to? What are the main activities of your organisation?

I belong to the Environmental Center for Development Education and Networking (EDEN center). It is an environmental NGO that bases its work on four main pillars: Environmental Education, Environmental Management Practices, Public Information and Participation, Capacity Building. EDEN center is focused on informing and raising the awareness of people about problematic environmental issues. EDEN center believes that sustainable development and a healthy environment is possible.

Why did you want to become a member of the YEE Board?

I really like the idea of international networking, getting to know different cultures, habits and knowledge under the same umbrella. YEE is the perfect place where you can develop yourself and give your contribution to environmental topics. This was the appropriate time to be part of this atmosphere, as the Member Organizations officer I will have the opportunity to get to know more about the environmental organizations spread all around, how they work and how they are all organized in a common network.

What is your main aim as a 2013 - 2014 Board member?

Being part of YEE board is a pleasure for me. For this year of my engagement, my aim is to be a good connection between the organizations of the network, to share common projects, ideas and always be in contact with the organizations giving them the support of YEE.

What environmental problem worries you the most?

Sea and ocean pollution.

What is your favorite place in nature?

The sea-side, mountains and green fields with flowers.
