2014/2015, 12 months

I have done some great things in my life so far. I've been paragliding, I've visited around 10 European countries, slept in a chalet at more than 2500m high and ridden on a motorcycle. I've lived on my own, made a lot of good friends, studied the things I liked, read the books I liked and watched the movies I liked. I've laughed with my family and my friends, had big dreams and some big disappointments as well, fallen in love and felt real happiness. But now I'm embarking on one of the greatest things that could happen to a young person - being an EVS volunteer. Fortunately enough, I will be doing so in one of the greatest cities in the world, Prague, within a great NGO, YEE.
What does this mean? I am still taking it all in, but I am sure that I will get to learn a lot about myself, about the environment and about cultures from all around Europe, maybe even from all around the world. I'm getting the chance to live on my own in a foreign country, laugh with the new friends I'll make and visit even more countries. It is the time for great things and I'm constantly grateful for all the opportunities that keep reminding me this.
