Communicating Climate Action Online | Webinar

Join the online Digital Masterclass on “Communicating climate action online” with professionals specialising in communication, advocacy and public engagement on environment, energy and climate change topics.
 
The webinar is organised by the European Committee of the Regions, a political assembly which represents local and regional authorities across the European Union and advises on new laws that have an impact on regions and cities.

Karolina Fabianova is a young professional specialising in digital communications, project management, youth advocacy and environmental policies. Karolina is a Project and Communications Manager for Youth and Environment Europe (YEE), the largest independent network of European youth organisations.
Robin Webster
Senior Programme Lead, Advocacy Communications @Climate Outreach
Robin Webster has nearly fifteen years of experience as a writer, adviser and campaigner on environmental issues and climate change. She has recently published a report on communicating climate action during COVID-19 for Climate Outreach, a charity which draws on the expertise of communication experts and social scientists to ensure that impacts are understood, accepted and acted upon across society.
We will be exploring what makes for effective online communication aimed at informing, persuading and mobilising support for climate action work. YEE will share its expertise on youth engagement in climate action communication.
