Meet the Green Generation
At YEE we believe that there is no climate justice without social justice. We must proactively address the issue of social inequity directly if we hope to solve pressing issues such as stopping climate change, transitioning to a clean energy economy, and preserving critical ecosystems.
Environmental protection, climate justice and human rights are the same fight – and without social justice there can be no progress on any of those fronts.
To bring more light on this issue, we have partnered with Euronews. Each month we will showcase an environmental activist from an underrepresented community who will show us their perspective.
YEE aims to unite environmental youth non-profit organisations in Europe in order to enhance international cooperation, increase knowledge about the climate crisis, raise awareness of environmental problems and to strengthen participation of youth in environmental decision-making.
